In a medium saucepan, cook sugar over medium heat untilit beings to melt,
shaking pan occasionally (do not stir). Reduce heat to low and add onion.
Cook and stir 5 minutes until sugar is golden brown. Carefully and
gradually, add the boiling water, stirring constantly. Whisk in remaining
ingredients. bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer, uncovered for 10-15
minutes or until desired consistency.
Brush sauce onto both sides of ribs during the last 10 minutes of grilling.
