INSTRUCTIONS
In a medium size pan, heat the caster sugar, chilli and water until the sugar has dissolved. Add the plums to the pan and cook over a medium heat until you have a thick syrupy mixture, approximately 7 minutes. Remove from the heat. In a separate pan, heat the sesame oil over a moderate heat and seal the tofu, approximately 2-3 minutes. Add the plum mixture and cook for a further minute. Add the satay sauce and bring to the boil. Remove from the heat. Cook the soba noodles according to pack instructions, add to the satay and season with fish sauce.
