preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cook noodles according to directions and drain
with cold water. Brown beef with onion; drain. Add sauce and mushrooms;
simmer 15 minutes. Combine cottage cheese, spinach and egg in a separate
bowl. Layer one row of noodles in a 12 x 8 dish then a layer of sauce.
Then two layers of noodles, then the cottage cheese mixture and repeat
until all noodles are used. Cover with mozzarella cheese. Bake for 30
minutes and let set for 15 minutes. I use the extra cheese in the layers.
