INGREDIENTS
1/4 | c | Rum |
1 | T | Shallots, chopped |
4 | T | Butter or margarine |
1 | T | Parsley, chopped |
2 | t | Lime juice |
1/2 | t | Tabasco pepper sauce |
4 | Beef steaks |
INSTRUCTIONS
In saucepan, combine rum and shallots; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer 2 minutes. Stir in butter, parsley, lime juice and tabasco sauce. Brush steaks with rum butter. Grill or broil 6" from heat. Cook about 8 minutes, turning steak once. Brush with rum butter occasionally. Heat any remaining rum butter to boil and serve with steaks.
