Chinese Sauce 4 Servings

INGREDIENTS

2 Cloves garlic
2 Fresh ginger root
1 c Stock
1/4 c Soy sauce
1 T Sugar
2 T Sherry

INSTRUCTIONS

Mince garlic and ginger root; then combine with remaining  ingredients.
Add to spareribs and marinate.    VARIATIONS  For the white sugar,
substitute brown sugar. Add 3 tablespoons honey  and 3 tablespoons
vinegar. Add 1/2 cup catsup and 1 teaspoon salt.  From <The Thousand
