INGREDIENTS

1/2 lb Vanilla wafers, crushed
2 1/2 c Confectioner's sugar
1 Stick butter
2 Eggs
1 qt Strawberries, sliced
2 Bananas, sliced
Nuts, if desired
1/2 pt Cream, whipped

INSTRUCTIONS

Blend softened butter and confectioner's sugar, beating until creamy.
Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating after each. Fold in crumbs. Spread
evenly in 2-1/2 quart shallow dish. Add strawberries and bananas as
next layer, spread even- ly with whipped cream and sprinkle with more
wafer crumbs. Refrigerate. Slice or cut in squares to serve. Serves
