INSTRUCTIONS
This is one of our all time family favorites that has been passed down
through the years. I'm not sure where it started, but I received it from my
mom. I hope you enjoy it.
Thaw strawberries & drain liquid into a lge. measuring cup. Add enough
water to juices to make 2-1/2 cups. Heat to boiling. Pour over gelatin &
stir until dissolved. Then add approx. !/2 cup. crushed ice cubes. Chill
until partially thickened. Fold in strawberries & pineapple. Turn half into
an oiled mold & chill until firm. In the meantime, beat crm. cheese until
smooth. Add in sour cream and salt, mix well. Stir in nuts. Spoon over
jellied mixture and spread gently. Chill until firm. Pour remaining gelatin
on top and chill until firm
