INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a mixing bowl, blend thoroughly meat, rice, allspice, cinammon, salt and pepper. Cut the top from each banana pepper and place a toothpick hole on the ends to allow air to escape while stuffing. With a scooping tool or peeler/scoop tool, hollow out seeds from each pepper with a circular motion and discard. Stuff each pepper fully and place in an appropriate baking dish, side to side. (You can also stuff with cheese). Pour tomato sauce evenly over the entire dish. Place crushed garlic throughout sauce and top with oregano. Cover with foil and bake for one hour. To microwave, cover with plastic wrap and bake on medium-high heat for 20-25 minutes. Serves 4. Excellent! Enjoy! Converted by MC_Buster. NOTES : Hungarian Hot Peppers (Banana) are one of the most popular of the chili pepper family and are available all year round. The degree of hotness varies with the climate and soil where they are grown. Great for spicing up chili, soups, stews, stir-fries and as a topping on pizzas. But how about stuffed with seasoned meat or mozzarella string cheese? It's exciting! Converted by MM_Buster v2.0l.
