INSTRUCTIONS
Place toast on a cookie sheet or oven-proof plate. Arrange sliced apple on
toast, dot with butter/margarine, sprinkle brown sugar over and dust with
cinnamon and/or numeg to taste. place some chese on top if you wish. Put
under broiler until bubbly and brown on the edges of the apple pieces.
And lest we forget, a baked apple is even simpler. Core apples, slice
knobs off of bottom to make a flat base. Place on a greased baking dish,
sprinkle the butter, sugar and spices down the centers, and bake in a 325
degree oven until soft and tender - the time depends on the apple variety.
