INSTRUCTIONS
Source: Newspaper - Many years ago.
Mix German chocolate cake mix, 1/3 cup evaporated milk and melted butter
together. Spread half the mixture in 9 x 12 inch pan. Bake at 350 for 15
minutes. Sprinkle on top of baked cake, the chocolate chips and nuts. Melt
carmels with 1/3 cup evaporated milk. Pour over chips and nuts. Spread
other half of cake mixture over everything. Use a wet off-set spatula to
make this easier. Bake at 350 for another 15 minutes. Let cool and
refrigerate 30 minutes. Cut into small squares. Very rich.
