INGREDIENTS
2 | Yeast | |
1/4 | c | Lukewarm water |
1 | c | Milk |
1/2 | c | Margarine |
1 | t | Vanilla extract |
1/2 | c | Sugar |
1 | t | Salt |
1 | Egg | |
3 1/2 | c | Flour |
INSTRUCTIONS
Soften yeast in lukewarm water; set aside. Scald milk. Add margarine, vanilla, sugar, and salt; cool. Add enough flour to make a thick batter. Add yeast and eggs. Beat. Knead about 10 minutes. Place in greased bowl and let rise about 1 1/2 hours. Punch down and work into desired shapes.
