INSTRUCTIONS

until just crisp and tender. Set aside and keep warm in a serving dish.
Cook bacon in a small skillet until it is crisp. Remove, crumble bacon and
sprinkle over beans. Add onions to bacon fat in skillet, and cook until
they are the texture, color and doneness you want them. Drain off any
remaining fat. Beat or whisk vinegar and sugar together, pour over onions
in frying pan, stir all together, heat to a simmer, pour over beans and
bacon, and serve immediately.
