INSTRUCTIONS
Combine the melted shortening, sugar and syrup. Sift the salt and spices
with the flour, and add alternately with the soda and water. Chill in
refrigerator for 2 hours. Roll very thin, cut in favorite shapes with
cookie cutters and bake on cookie sheet.
