INGREDIENTS

12 sl White Bread Slices — crusts
Removed
3 tb Butter — to spread on
Bread
1/2 c Butter
1/2 lb Mushrooms
2 c Onions — finely chopped
1 lb Italian Sausage
1 lb Cheddar Cheese — grated
5 Whole Eggs
2 1/2 c Milk
1 ts Dry Mustard
3 ts Dijon Mustard
1 ts Nutmeg
Salt And Pepper — to taste

INSTRUCTIONS

Butter bread, set aside.
Melt 1/2 cup butter, saute onions & mushrooms.
Grease 13 x 9 casserole.  Layer 1/2 bread, mushrooms & onions, sausage, &
cheese.
Mix eggs, milk, mustards, nutmeg, salt, & pepper.  Pour over casserole,
cover and refrigerate overnight.
Bake uncovered in a 350 degree oven for 1 hour.
