Ingredients: 1 Lemon; 200 g Dark muscovado sugar; 500 g Dried fruit; chosen from the; ; following and; Mango; Papaya; Banana; Dates; Figs; Pineapple; 500 g Fresh fruit; chosen from the; ; following and; Pineapple; Physalis; Guava; 100 g Creamed coconut; grated; 50 g Chopped blanched almonds; 1/2 ts Ground cardamom; 1/2 ts Ground cinnamon; 1/2 ts Ground cloves; 1/2 ts Ground mace; 2 tb Dark rum; (optional) (2 to 3)

Scrub the lemon, grate the rind and squeeze the juice into a bowl.
Thoroughly mix in the rest of the ingredients and leave overnight for the
flavours to blend before potting, sealing and labelling.

The wonder of wonders to me is not just the miracle where God instantly invades and just interrupts and violates the flow of everything, to me the greater wonder is that God can take it all and still make it work for His will. That’s astounding to me. The diversity of an innumerable number of events, circumstances and attitudes that occur within the limited freedom of men and demons and God pulls it all together to accomplish exactly what He wants done. Incredible not only to conceive that it can be done but to make it happen. But that is precisely what God does.
