INGREDIENTS
| 1 | c | Shortening |
| 1/2 | c | Sugar |
| 1/2 | c | Brown sugar |
| 2 | Eggs | |
| 1 1/2 | ts | Vanilla |
| 2 3/4 | c | Flour |
| 1/2 | ts | Soda |
| 1 | ts | Salt |
INSTRUCTIONS
Mix shortening, sugars, eggs & vanilla thoroughly. Blend dry ingredients together; mix into shortening mixture. Mix thoroughly with hands. Press & mold into long, smooth roll about 2 1/2" in diameter. Wrap in wax paper & chill several hours. Heat oven to 400. Cut into thin slices. Place a little apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
