INSTRUCTIONS
In a small saucepan combine sugar, cornstarch, nutmeg and salt. Add water
in a stream whisking constantly and then simmer sauce over low heat until
thickened (about 3 minutes). Off heat, whisk in butter, vanilla and zest.
Transfer to a serving bowl and serve. This recipe yields 2 cups of sauce.
