If you want to try something a little different, we like to make steak
rollups from time to time. Take about a 2 inch steak and butterfly it. Then
(this is the hard part because I hate pounding a good steak) pound the
steak flat with a meat hammer on both sides. Chop green onions and mix them
with a tub of cream cheese. Spread this mixture on the steak, then roll the
steak up like a log. Wrap a piece of bacon around the steak and toothpick
it. Put the steaks on a broiler rack and bake at about 350 degrees for
about 30 minutes. Then turn the broiler on and broil them for about 5
minutes a side. This will cook the bacon and get the mixture oozing out the
sides and gives it all a nice grilled color. You can discard the bacon if
you like. Serve with favorite side dishes. These things are delicious,
fattening and easy to make. Good luck!
