Head lettuce in small chunks |

Red onion (or white) sliced very thin |

Swiss cheese cut in strips |

Bacon slices cooked and crumbled |
INSTRUCTIONS
Place one third lettuce chunks in bottom of bowl. Spread a few spoons of
mayonnaise over top. Layer one third of thin onion slices over. Sprinkle
lightly with sugar, about 1 tsp. Sugar all the onion as this causes them to
weep. Put on one third of peas followed by one third cheese. Repeat layers
twice. Cover and chill for 2-3 hours. Before serving, sprinkle bacon over
