Dairy Swiss Appetizers, Salads 4 Servings

INGREDIENTS

1 Head lettuce in small chunks
1/2 To 1 cup mayonnaise for a thin cover
1 Red onion (or white) sliced very thin
3 ts Granulated sugar
1 1/2 c Cooked peas, fresh or frozen
1 1/2 c Swiss cheese cut in strips
6 Bacon slices cooked and crumbled

INSTRUCTIONS

Place one third lettuce chunks in bottom of bowl. Spread a few spoons of
mayonnaise over top. Layer one third of thin onion slices over. Sprinkle
lightly with sugar, about 1 tsp. Sugar all the onion as this causes them to
weep. Put on one third of peas followed by one third cheese. Repeat layers
twice. Cover and chill for 2-3 hours. Before serving, sprinkle bacon over
top. Do not toss. Yield: 4 Typed in MMFormat by cjhartlin@msn.com Source:
