INGREDIENTS
1/4 | c | Butter |
1/2 | c | Milk |
1/4 | c | White shortening |
1/2 | c | Granulated sugar |
2 | t | Flour |
1/2 | t | Vanilla |
INSTRUCTIONS
Recipe By : Patricia Fields (an old family recipe) In a small saucepan, add flour to milk and bring to a boil. Allow to cool. In a medium sized bowl, blend butter and shortening for four minutes with electric mixer. Add sugar and beat four more minutes. Add cooled flour and milk mixture to butter mixture. Add vanilla.
