INGREDIENTS

1 | t | Baking Powder |
1 | t | Baking Soda |
1 | t | Salt |
2 | c | Whole-Wheat Flour |
1/4 | c | Melted Shortening |
1 1/2 | c | Buttermilk, Or Sour Milk |
1/4 | c | Packed Brown Sugar |
1/4 | c | Molasses |
1 | c | Raisins |
INSTRUCTIONS
Mix white flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and whole-wheat flour in a bowl. Add shortening, milk, brown sugar and molasses; stir until blended. Mix in raisins. Spoon into a greased loaf pan, and bake in a 375F oven for 45-50 minutes. Remove from pan and cool on rack.
