INGREDIENTS

2 1/2 c Basmati or jasmine rice
5 c Water
1/2 ts Salt or to taste
1/2 ts Pepper
1/3 ts Turmeric

INSTRUCTIONS

In a large pan, combine all ingredients and bring to a boil. cover and
reduce heat to low. cook until all liquid is absorbed, about 10-12 minutes.
Remove from heat and fluff. Let stand about 10 minutes before serving.
Makes about 5 cups.
