INGREDIENTS
1 2/3 | c | Chicken stock |
1 | t | Dried basil leaves, crushed |
1/4 | t | Garlic powder |
1/4 | t | Hot pepper sauce |
1 | lb | Canned stewed tomatoes |
3/4 | c | Uncooked long grain rice |
1 | c | Frozen peas |
2 | c | Cooked turkey or chicken |

INSTRUCTIONS
Combine first 5 ingredients in a saucepan over medium high heat. Bring to a boil. Stir in rice. Reduce heat to low. Cover and cook 20 minutes. Stir in peas and turkey. Cover and cook 5 minutes more or until rice is done and most of liquid is absorbed.
