This is an excellent book that discusses the Colfaxes’ approach to education and how they learned to homeschool. While not a reference book per se, it does give a good idea of day-to-day homeschooling as well as an idea of how to homeschool. One son is now studying to be a doctor at Harvard.

The book also tells how Judy documented his schooling and the steps they went through in applying to the colleges.
