RESURRECTION
JOB 14:12 So man lieth down, and riseth not: till the heavens be no more, they shall not awake, nor be raised out of their sleep.
JOB 14:13 O that thou wouldest hide me in the grave, that thou wouldest keep me secret, until thy wrath be past, that thou wouldest appoint me a set time, and remember me!
JOB 14:14 If a man die, shall he live again? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come.
JOB 14:15 Thou shalt call, and I will answer thee: thou wilt have a desire to the work of thine hands.
JOB 19:25 For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth:
JOB 19:26 And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God:
JOB 19:27 Whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not another; though my reins be consumed within me.
PSA 16:9 Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: my flesh also shall rest in hope.
PSA 16:10 For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.
PSA 17:15 As for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with thy likeness.
PSA 49:15 But God will redeem my soul from the power of the grave: for he shall receive me. Selah.
ISA 25:8 He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken it.
ISA 26:19 Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead.
EZE 37:1 The hand of the LORD was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the LORD, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones,
EZE 37:2 And caused me to pass by them round about: and, behold, there were very many in the open valley; and, lo, they were very dry.
EZE 37:3 And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord GOD, thou knowest.
EZE 37:4 Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the LORD.
EZE 37:5 Thus saith the Lord GOD unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live:
EZE 37:6 And I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and ye shall live; and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
EZE 37:7 So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone.
EZE 37:8 And when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh came up upon them, and the skin covered them above: but there was no breath in them.
EZE 37:9 Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live.
EZE 37:10 So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army.
EZE 37:11 Then he said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel: behold, they say, Our bones are dried, and our hope is lost: we are cut off for our parts.
EZE 37:12 Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel.
EZE 37:13 And ye shall know that I am the LORD, when I have opened your graves, O my people, and brought you up out of your graves,
EZE 37:14 And shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know that I the LORD have spoken it, and performed it, saith the Lord.
DAN 12:2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.
DAN 12:3 And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.
DAN 12:13 But go thou thy way till the end be: for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days.
HOS 13:14 I will ransom them from the power of the grave; I will redeem them from death: O death, I will be thy plagues; O grave, I will be thy destruction: repentance shall be hid from mine eyes.
MAT 22:23 The same day came to him the Sadducees, which say that there is no resurrection, and asked him,
MAT 22:24 Saying, Master, Moses said, If a man die, having no children, his brother shall marry his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother.
MAT 22:25 Now there were with us seven brethren: and the first, when he had married a wife, deceased, and, having no issue, left his wife unto his brother:
MAT 22:26 Likewise the second also, and the third, unto the seventh.
MAT 22:27 And last of all the woman died also.
MAT 22:28 Therefore in the resurrection whose wife shall she be of the seven? for they all had her.
MAT 22:29 Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.
MAT 22:30 For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.
MAT 22:31 But as touching the resurrection of the dead, have ye not read that which was spoken unto you by God, saying,
MAT 22:32 I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.
MAT 24:31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
MAT 25:1 Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.
MAT 25:2 And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.
MAT 25:3 They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:
MAT 25:4 But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.
MAT 25:5 While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.
MAT 25:6 And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.
MAT 25:7 Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.
MAT 25:8 And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.
MAT 25:9 But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.
MAT 25:10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.
MAT 25:11 Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.
MAT 25:12 But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.
MAT 25:13 Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.
MAT 27:52 And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose,
MAT 27:53 And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.
LUK 14:14 And thou shalt be blessed; for they cannot recompense thee: for thou shalt be recompensed at the resurrection of the just.
LUK 20:35 But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage:
LUK 20:36 Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.
LUK 20:37 Now that the dead are raised, even Moses shewed at the bush, when he calleth the Lord the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.
LUK 20:38 For he is not a God of the dead, but of the living: for all live unto him.
JOH 5:21 For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son quickeneth whom he will.
JOH 5:25 Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.
JOH 5:28 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,
JOH 5:29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.
JOH 6:39 And this is the Father’s will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.
JOH 6:40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.
JOH 6:44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.
JOH 6:54 Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.
JOH 11:23 Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother shall rise again.
JOH 11:24 Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day.
JOH 11:25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:
JOH 14:19 Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.
ACT 2:26 Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope:
ACT 2:27 Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.
ACT 2:28 Thou hast made known to me the ways of life; thou shalt make me full of joy with thy countenance.
ACT 2:29 Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day.
ACT 2:30 Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne;
ACT 2:31 He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.
ACT 4:1 And as they spake unto the people, the priests, and the captain of the temple, and the Sadducees, came upon them,
ACT 4:2 Being grieved that they taught the people, and preached through Jesus the resurrection from the dead.
ACT 17:18 Then certain philosophers of the Epicureans, and of the Stoicks, encountered him. And some said, What will this babbler say? other some, He seemeth to be a setter forth of strange gods: because he preached unto them Jesus, and the resurrection.
ACT 17:32 And when they heard of the resurrection of the dead, some mocked: and others said, We will hear thee again of this matter.
ACT 23:6 But when Paul perceived that the one part were Sadducees, and the other Pharisees, he cried out in the council, Men and brethren, I am a Pharisee, the son of a Pharisee: of the hope and resurrection of the dead I am called in question.
ACT 23:8 For the Sadducees say that there is no resurrection, neither angel, nor spirit: but the Pharisees confess both.
ACT 24:14 But this I confess unto thee, that after the way which they call heresy, so worship I the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the law and in the prophets:
ACT 24:15 And have hope toward God, which they themselves also allow, that there shall be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and unjust.
ACT 26:6 And now I stand and am judged for the hope of the promise made of God, unto our fathers:
ACT 26:7 Unto which promise our twelve tribes, instantly serving God day and night, hope to come. For which hope’s sake, king Agrippa, I am accused of the Jews.
ACT 26:8 Why should it be thought a thing incredible with you, that God should raise the dead?
ROM 4:16 Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all,
ROM 4:17 (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.
ROM 4:18 Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be.
ROM 4:19 And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah’s womb:
ROM 4:20 He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;
ROM 4:21 And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.
ROM 8:10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
ROM 8:11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
ROM 8:19 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.
ROM 8:21 Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.
ROM 8:22 For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.
ROM 8:23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.
1CO 6:14 And God hath both raised up the Lord, and will also raise up us by his own power.
1CO 15:12 Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead?
1CO 15:13 But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen:
1CO 15:14 And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.
1CO 15:15 Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not.
1CO 15:16 For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised:
1CO 15:17 And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.
1CO 15:18 Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished.
1CO 15:19 If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.
1CO 15:20 But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.
1CO 15:21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.
1CO 15:22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
1CO 15:23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ’s at his coming.
1CO 15:24 Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.
1CO 15:25 For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.
1CO 15:26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.
1CO 15:27 For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him.
1CO 15:28 And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.
1CO 15:29 Else what shall they do which are baptized for the dead, if the dead rise not at all? why are they then baptized for the dead?
1CO 15:30 And why stand we in jeopardy every hour?
1CO 15:31 I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily.
1CO 15:32 If after the manner of men I have fought with beasts at Ephesus, what advantageth it me, if the dead rise not? let us eat and drink; for to morrow we die.
1CO 15:33 Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.
1CO 15:34 Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.
1CO 15:35 But some man will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come?
1CO 15:36 Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die:
1CO 15:37 And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain:
1CO 15:38 But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body.
1CO 15:39 All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds.
1CO 15:40 There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.
1CO 15:41 There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory.
1CO 15:42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:
1CO 15:43 It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:
1CO 15:44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
1CO 15:45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
1CO 15:46 Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.
1CO 15:47 The first man is of the earth, earthy; the second man is the Lord from heaven.
1CO 15:48 As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.
1CO 15:49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.
1CO 15:50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
1CO 15:51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
1CO 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
1CO 15:53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
1CO 15:54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
1CO 15:55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
1CO 15:56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
1CO 15:57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
2CO 4:14 Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us with you.
2CO 5:1 For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
2CO 5:2 For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven:
2CO 5:3 If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked.
2CO 5:4 For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life.
2CO 5:5 Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit.
PHI 3:10 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;
PHI 3:11 If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.
PHI 3:21 Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.
1TH 4:14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
2TI 1:10 But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:
2TI 2:18 Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some.
HEB 6:2 Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.
HEB 11:19 Accounting that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead; from whence also he received him in a figure.
HEB 11:35 Women received their dead raised to life again: and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection:
REV 1:18 I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.
REV 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
REV 20:5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
REV 20:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
REV 20:13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
