Man’s Response to Catastrophes

  • Ignore — Modern Response
  • Protect — Humanistic Response
  • Appease — Pagan Response
  • Repent — Christian Response!

Conclusions about Catastrophes

  1. Catastrophes (in general) are a direct result of man’s sin (in general).
  2. Some Catastrophes are a wake-up call from God.
  3. Some Catastrophes result from living in a fallen world
  4. ALL Catastrophes should prompt us to self-examination!
