"Tootie" Bread

INGREDIENTS

1 Loaf French bread
1 pk (8-oz) Swiss cheese slices
1/2 c Margarine; softened
1/4 c Finely chopped onion
1 tb Prepared mustard
1 tb Poppy seeds
4 sl Uncooked bacon; cut into small pieces

INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat oven to 400°. Partially slice the bread into 16 pieces. Cut each
slice of cheese diagonally and place one triangle of cheese in between each
piece of bread. Place the bread on a foil covered cookie sheet. Combine
margarine, onion, mustard and poppy seeds and mix well. "Ice" the bread on
top and sides. Place small pieces of bacon on top. Bake for 20 minutes and
serve hot. Yield: 6 to 8 servings.
