  • No names, dates, or any particulars have ever been offered
  • Two possibilities
    • 1. She is a fake, liar
    • 2. She has utilized another ‘power’ – Ex 7: 11,22
    • Mrs. Eddy refused to treat identical cases of her claims by Cincinnati doctor, Dr. Charles Reed, 1899 as described in New York Sun, Jan 1, 1899
      Mrs. Eddy’s granddaughter, sister-in-law, and close friend (Joseph Armstrong) died of cancer, pneumonia, and pleurisy, respectively. Mrs. Eddy recommended the reading of her book as therapy. Later she sent a personal check for surgery costs for her sister-in-law, but the ‘Christian Science’ therapy had taken its toll, and she died.
    • Mr. Alfred Farlow, Chairman of Publications Committee of the Christian Science Church and President of the Mother Church in Boston state in sworn testimony that he did not know of any healing ever having been made by Mrs. Eddy of any organic disease in her life but that of a stiff leg.
