INGREDIENTS

2 c Master mix
3/4 c Sugar
1/4 ts Baking soda
1/4 c Tub margarine
2 Bananas; mashed
4 Egg whites; stiffly beaten
1/2 c Walnuts; chopped

INSTRUCTIONS

Recipe by: The Living Heart Diet by M. E. DeBakey ISBN 0-671-61998-5
1.    Preheat oven to 350 F.
2. Combine Master Mix, sugar, and baking soda in a large bowl.
3. Blend in margarine and bananas until smooth.
4. Fold in beaten egg whites and walnuts.
5. Turn into a 9 x 5-inch loaf pan that has been brushed with margarine.
6. Bake for 50-60 mins or until a cake tester inserted in center comes out
clean.
7. Cool 10 mins, turn onto rack, and cool completely.
YIELD: 1 loaf (20 slices)
