I seized, opened, and in silence read that section on which my eyes first fell: “Not in revelry and drunkenness, not in licentiousness and lewdness, not is strife and envy; but put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts.” No further would I read, nor did I need to. For instantly at the end of this sentence, it seemed as if a light of serenity infused into my heart and all the darkness of doubt vanished away.

Maureen’s Beef Curry

INGREDIENTS

1 lb Stew or fondue beef; cut into 1"cubes
2 tb Curry powder
1 oz Unsweetened chocolate
1/4 c Molasses
1/4 c Tomato sauce
1 qt Orange juice; (or more)
Salt & pepper; to taste
3 tb Oil

INSTRUCTIONS

Brown stew meat in oil.  When meat is lightly browned add curry and
continue browning.  Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Simmer
about 1 hour, continuing to add juice (water or orange juice) as needed. A
pressure cooker or crock pot can be used to hasten stirring. Serve with
rice and mixed vegetables or chutney
