God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

A spiritual war, however, cannot be successfully fought with fleshly weapons. Therefore, the weapons in Paul’s arsenal were not those of human ingenuity, human ideology, or human methodology. Human reason, wisdom, plans, strategies, organizations, skill, eloquence, marketing, religious showmanship, philosophical or psychological speculation, ritualism, pragmatisms, or mysticism are all ineffective weapons against the forces of the kingdom of darkness, the “powers…world forces of this darkness…[and] spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places' (Eph. 6:12). They cannot rescue sinners from the “domain of darkness” (Col. 1:13) or transform believers into Christ’s likeness. Such weapons gain only superficial, temporary, and deceptive victories at best.

Was the Virgin Birth necessary to secure the humanity of Jesus from the corrupting taint of inherited sin? Among those who have said Yes are Gregory the Great, Ambrose, Augustine, Aquinas, and Luther. The line of descent from Adam to Jesus is partially interrupted in view of the fact that he did not have a human father. But why would he not have inherited corruption of nature from Mary? Luke tells us that it is because the Holy Spirit is responsible for Christ’s conception that the child in Mary’s womb is to be called “holy” (Lk. 1:35). Contrary to popular opinion, there is no biblical evidence to suggest that the sin nature is transmitted exclusively through the father’s seed.

INSTRUCTIONS

Follow your manufacturers directions for ABM.
I am one of those who has been lurking too long...so here is my favorite
bread recipe for the bread machine. I adjusted this recipe for the ABM. For
regular baking you may double all of the ingredients, mix as you do regular
bread and bake in 2 greased coffee cans at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. I do
have Mastercook but really don't like to use it so this one is not
formatted. Linda B in IL
