We Love God!

God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

The natural man may have excellent notions in divinity, but God must teach us to know the mysteries of the Gospel after a spiritual manner. A man may see the figures upon a dial, but he cannot tell how the day goes unless the sun shines; so we may read many truths in the Bible, but we cannot know them savingly, till God by His Spirit shines upon our soul… He not only informs our mind, but inclines our will.
Thomas Watson

Dull. I find, by experience, that, let me make Resolutions, and do what I will, with never so many inventions, it is all nothing, and to no purpose at all, without the Spirit of God; for if the Spirit of God should be as much withdrawn from me always, as for the week past, notwithstanding all I do, I should not grow, but should languish, and miserably fade away. I perceive, if God should withdraw his Spirit a little more, I should not hesitate to break my Resolutions, and should soon arrive at my old state. There is no dependence on myself.

Meats, Dairy Kentucky 1 Servings

INGREDIENTS

1 1/2 lb Ground beef
1/2 lb Sausage
1 lb Velveeta cheese, cubed in small pieces
1 ts Worchestire sauce
1 ts Oregano
1/2 ts Garlic salt
1/2 ts Black pepper
Party Rye bread

INSTRUCTIONS

Brown ground beef and sausage and drain. Add Velveeta cheese to meat
mixture on low heat and stir until melted. Add next four ingredients,
mixing well. Remove from heat. Drop by large spoonful and spread while warm
on individual slices of party rye bread. Place on cooking sheet . Bake at
400 for 15 minutes.
(As mixture begins to cool in pan, it is more difficult to spread as easily
on the bread. Also, when I want to freeze some, I use those that have not
been baked, let them cool and place them in layers in a closed Tupperware
container with wax paper in between layers. Then they're ready to go
anytime I need them.)
