We Love God!

God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

Friends, if we cannot, or maybe I should say desire not, to do as Jesus says in Scripture; we short-circuit the whole process by failing to show Christ to the world, by failing to acknowledge Him as our Lord and frankly by showing less reverence and faith than the demons. Will we submit to His authority in all things, despite the personal cost, to reveal to this world that Jesus is truly Lord? The Kingdom will come for all to see and acknowledge, but it has begun and is shown to all by Him ruling in the hearts of His children.
Randy Smith

What then should we say when we are trying to lead someone to Christ? I think a better picture is simply what the New Testament uses as its normative word - πίστις/πιστεύω. The noun form (πίστις) can be translated 'faith,' 'belief,' or 'trust.' The verb can be translated 'I believe,' 'I have faith,' 'I trust.' In some contexts the object of belief is emphasized (namely, Christ); in other contexts, the kind of belief is emphasized (namely, a genuine trust, an embracing). Thus, πίστις has this twofold force of content and conviction. To be saved, one must have the right object of faith (content); and one must truly put his trust entirely in that object (conviction).

INGREDIENTS

1/2 Red onion, sliced into rings
1 Tomato, chopped
1 c Fresh spinach, torn into bite-size
3 Cloves garlic, chopped
1 tb Italian seasoning
2 c Mozzarella cheese, fat free, shredded
Pizza dough, recipe follows
Spaghetti sauce (for dipping)

INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Prepare baking sheet with cooking spray.
Prepare onion, tomato, and spinach, then mix together with the seasoning
and garlic.
Prepare the dough and stretch onto baking sheet into an oval shape. Spread
half the cheese onto the dough, leaving about 1/2" on all sides without
cheese. Next, spread all the tomato spinach filling onto the cheese. Last,
spread the rest of the cheese on top.
Bring the two longer sides of the dough around the filling so they meet in
the center, then press them together. (This will make a long cylindrical
shape.) Pinch together the ends to seal it. Bake 7 to 10 minutes until the
crust is a golden brown.
Slice and serve with heated spaghetti sauce for dipping.
