We Love God!

God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

[Our] heavenly Father is infinitely big, wise, and capable. As God gets bigger and bigger in your mind and heart, your trial will get smaller and smaller.
Steve Swartz

God’s people can never by any possibility be punished for their sins. God has punished them already in the person of Christ, their substitute. But yet, while the Christian cannot be condemned, he can be chastised. Punishment is laid on a man in anger; God strikes him in wrath. But when he afflicts His child, chastisement is applied in love. The rod has been baptized in deep affection before it is laid on the believer’s back.

In a 2-quart microwave-safe casserole, combine rhubarb and apples. In a
separate bowl, combine remaining ingredients and mix well. Sprinkle over
rhubarb and apples. Toss well to coat them evenly. Cover with plastic wrap
(leave a small vent on 1 side so that steam can escape). Microwave on HIGH
for 9 to 12 minutes, until rhubarb and apples are tender. Rotate the dish
1/4 turn every 4 minutes. Let stand, covered, for 10 minutes. Serve warm.
