God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

The kind of meditation encouraged in the Bible differs from other kinds of meditation in several ways. While some advocate a kind of meditation in which you do your best to empty your mind, Christian meditation involves filling your mind with God and truth. For some, meditation is an attempt to achieve complete mental passivity, but biblical meditation requires constructive mental activity. Worldly meditation employs visualization techniques intended to “create your own reality.” And while Christian history has always had a place for the sanctified use of our God-given imagination in meditation, imagination is our servant to help us meditate on things that are true (Philippians 4:8). Furthermore, instead of “creating our own reality” through visualization, we link meditation with prayer to God and responsible, Spirit-filled human action to effect changes.
Donald S. Whitney

I know that some are always studying the meaning of the fourth toe of the right foot of some beast in prophecy and have never used either foot to go and bring men to Christ. I do not know who the 666 is in Revelation but I know the world is sick, sick, sick and the best way to speed the Lord's return is to win more souls for Him.

Bring a large pot of water to the boil and have ready a sink full of
icey-cold water. Plunge the shredded cabbage into the boiling water for one
minute then scoop it out and into the cold water.
Drain and dry the cabbage and arrange it and the other vegetables in
sections or concentric rings for maximum decorative value on a large
serving dish. Fill the centre of the arrangement with chicken and ham.
Decorate the dish with bright red chilli "flowers" (optional). Pass the
dressing separately.

[The chilli "flowers" can be easily made by slitting long, thin, hot
chillies lengthwise from near where the stem attaches and then tossing the
slit chillies into a bowl of ice water and ice cubes. The "petals" will
curl back and make an attractive garnish. Make about eight slits. S.C.]
