We Love God!

God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

I know, perhaps as well as anyone, what depression means, and what it is to feel myself sinking lower and lower. Yet at the worst, when I reach the lowest depths, I have an inward peace which no pain or depression can in the least disturb. Trusting in Jesus Christ my Savior, there is still a blessed quietness in the deep caverns of my soul, though upon the surface, a rough tempest may be raging, and there may be little apparent calm.
C.H. Spurgeon

One measure of humane, sustainable, biblical wisdom is not to take oneself so seriously that one becomes grimly self-focused but, instead, so to trust God that one retains a lifelong personal capacity for childlike fun, youthful play, hilarious frivolity, uncontrollable laughter to the point of tears and goofing off with a clear conscience. I believe this.

INGREDIENTS

4 Egg whites
2/3 c Motzah meal

INSTRUCTIONS

yield 30 motzah balls (teaspoon size) Beat egg whites untill soft
peaks form. Fold in motzah meal. Chill for 20 minutes. Using a
teaspoon shape motzah ball mix in to balls. I cook them in simmering
chicken broth for about 20 minutes with the lid on. Found that 3 are
enough in a cup of soup, but, they are soooo light that we had 5 per
person and still wanted more. Posted to JEWISH-FOOD digest Volume 98
