God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

Because of our Lord’s exalted status, the day will come when all of creation, beginning at the return of our Lord and throughout eternity, will bow the knee and confess that Jesus is Lord (see Philippians 2:10-11). Believers will do that willingly and joyfully. All the rest of creation will do it against their will. Bottom line, in the end all will surrender to the lordship of Jesus Christ. The Book of Revelation, chapter 5, verses 13-14 declares, “And every created thing which is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all things in them, I heard saying, ‘To Him who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb, be blessing and honor and glory and dominion forever and ever.’”

Because Christians believe that the Bible is the inspired and infallible Word of God, their opposition [to homosexuality] is rooted in a commitment to the absolute authority of the Bible to define the institution of marriage and to judge the moral nature of homosexual acts (2 Tim. 3:16-17). Therefore, their rejection of homosexuality and “homosexual marriage” is based on the objective, propositional revelation of Scripture that teaches that these things are sinful because they are contrary to the will of God. The true Christian does not condemn sodomy and “same-sex marriage” because of fear or hate, but because his faith in God’s revelation requires him to do so.

Rhubarb-pecan Muffins

INGREDIENTS

2	c	Flour
1 1/2	t	Baking powder
1	t	Salt
1		Egg, large
2	t	Grated orange peel
1 1/4	c	Rhubarb, fresh fine chopped
3/4	c	Sugar
1/2	t	Baking soda
3/4	c	Chopped pecans
1/4	c	Vegetable oil
3/4	c	Orange juice

INSTRUCTIONS

Combine all dry ingredients.  Beat egg and oil; add orange juice.  Add
to flour mix.  Add rhubarb.  Bake 350F 25-30 min.  File
