God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

How can Satan in a subtle way get people to disregard the truth on Sunday morning? How about getting people to think the sermon is entertainment or sitting through an entire sermon for a need to uphold a religious duty? Yeah, nothing about coming prepared to hear God’s Word. According to Satan - I’ll keep them out late on Saturday night. I’ll distract them with Sunday afternoon plans. I’ll have them put way more time into looking good physically than preparing their hearts spiritually before coming to church. I’ll have them arrive late so they can miss the singing to prepare their hearts to receive the truth and then distract others trying to worship when they stroll in. I’ll get them to believe the message is more intended for someone else. I’ll get them to listen for the 1% they disagree with as compared to the 99% they need to know. I’ll convince them that applying what they just heard is optional. And then I’ll get them to forget about what they heard before they even reach their cars.

In Romans 3:23 we read, “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” Everyone experiences guilt because everyone is guilty of violating God’s law. James 2:10 says, “For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles in one point, he has become guilty of all.” Everyone deserves God’s just condemnation in hell. But God in His love and mercy sent us a Redeemer. He sent us One that would take our sins upon Himself. He sent us Jesus Christ. And after receiving our sins, the Father spent His wrath upon Him. The punishment for all our sins was received by Him. Thus with the penalty of sin now taken away for those in Christ, we can receive a full pardon for our sins. Remove our sins from God’s presence in Christ and naturally you remove the guilt as well.

A pinch of salt
A pinch of caster sugar
2 Eggs
300 Milk, 1/2 pint
300 Water, 1/2 pint
1 t Vegetable oil
2 T Very finely chopped tansy
A pinch of nutmeg
Butter or margarine for
fying
350 g Cottage cheese, 12oz
50 g Skimmed milk soft cheese
2oz
25 g Caster sugar, 1oz
2 Oranges
Caster sugar
1 Thin slices oranges
1 Sprig tansy

INSTRUCTIONS

Sift the flour with the salt and sugar and make a well in the centre.
Break in the eggs and mix well with a wooden spoon. Mix the milk and
water and add these to the egg mixture, stirring until the batter is
completely smooth. Add the oil and leave to stand for a few hours.
When you are ready to make the pancakes, stir in three-quarters of the
chopped tansy, and the nutmeg. Melt a little butter or margarine in a
frying pan and make 12 thin, delicate pancakes. Keep them warm. Make
the cottage cheese with the soft cheese and caster sugar. Peel the
oranges with a very sharp knife and segment them, removing all skin,
pips and pith. Chop the flesh. Add the flesh with the remaining tansy
to the cheese. Spread 2 tablespoons of the mixture along the centre of
each pancake and roll the pancakes up. Leave the pancakes in a warm
oven until ready to serve, and then sprinkle them with caster sugar
and decorate with twisted slices of orange, and tansy sprigs.
Converted by MC_Buster. NOTES : The flavour of young tansy leaves in
early summer is lightly piquant, and utterly delectable as a contrast
to the creamy filling of these crepes. It goes very well with the
flavour of oranges too, and this dessert is worth every moment that it
takes to make. Thyme can be substituted for tansy. Converted by
