CONFESSION 11

HOLINESS

Whatever I do in word or deed, I do all in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, giving thanks to God and the Father by Him. I discipline my body and bring it into subjection. Whether I eat or drink, or whatever I do, I do it all for God’s glory. My body is a temple of the Holy Spirit; the Holy Spirit dwelling in me. He is of God; I am not my own; I am bought with the blood of Jesus Christ. Therefore I glorify God in my body and spirit which are God’s. I am dead to sin but alive unto God through my Lord Jesus Christ. I do not allow sin to rule my body that I should obey it in the lusts thereof. Neither do I yield my members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin. I yield myself unto God, as one resurrected from the dead, and my members as instruments of righteousness unto God. Sin does not have dominion over me.
