God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

The important thing, Jesus is saying (in Matthew 5:33-37), is to tell the truth and keep one's pledges without insisting that a certain form of words must be used if it is to be binding. No oath is necessary for the truthful person... Their word is so reliable that nothing more than a statement is needed from them.

To memorize Scripture effectively, you must have a plan. The plan should include a selection of well-chosen verses, a practical system for learning those verses, a systematic means of reviewing them to keep them fresh in your memory, and simple rules for continuing Scripture memory on your own.

CONFESSION 9

HEALING

I cry unto the Lord because He is my healer. He sends His Word and I am healed. He was wounded for my transgressions and bruised for my iniquities. The chastisement of my peace was upon Him and by His stripes I am healed. Heal me O Lord and I will be healed; save me and I will be saved. The Holy Spirit likewise helps my infirmities when I pray. The Lord Jesus Christ takes my infirmities and bares my sicknesses. He has taken my sin upon His body when He died on the tree that I, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness. By His stripes I am healed. I am complete in Him. He opens the eyes of the blind.
