God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)
Discipline, for the Christian, begins with the body. We have only one. It is this body that is the primary material given to us for sacrifice. We cannot give our hearts to God and keep our bodies for ourselves.
This religion is of a sort that is public, and not private; plenty abroad, but none at home; plenty without, but none within; plenty in the tongue, but none in the heart. They are altogether unprofitable, good for nothing, they bear no fruit.

Warm cream in saucepan over low heat. Stirring constantly, add the
chocolate, broken into small pieces. Continue stirring until chocolate is
melted and well blended. Add liquor or brandy, if desired. Serve in fondue
dish over candle or very low heat. Offer a choice or fruit to dunk.
