God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

It is not easy to get the law killed. Something of a legal disposition remains even in the believer while he is in this world. Many a stroke does self and self-righteousness get, but still it revives again. If he were wholly dead to the law, he would be wholly dead to sin. But so far as the law lives, sin lives. They that think they know the gospel well enough betray their ignorance. No man can be too evangelical [gospel-centered]. It will take all his life-time to get a legal temper destroyed.
Ralph Erskine

It is widely assumed that an essential part of apostleship is the authority to write inspired Scripture. There are three problems with this view: 1. Scripture nowhere asserts that all apostles could write Scripture simply because they were apostles. 2. Several of the apostles did not, in fact, write Scripture. Does this disqualify them from being apostles? 3. People other than apostles did, in fact, write Scripture (Mark, Luke, the author of Hebrews, Jude).

CATEGORY CUISINE TAG YIELD

INGREDIENTS

4 Hershey Bars; (up to 6)
2 c Sugar
1 lb Real butter; no substitutes
1 c Pecans; chopped fine (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS

In a heavy aluminum pan, mix butter and sugar with electric beater until
smooth. Add about 1/4 cup chopped pecans (this step is also
optional....when I use nuts, I sprinkle about 1/2-3/4 cup on top of the
chocolate). Cook on high for 10 minutes. IMPORTANT---Start timer as soon as
you put mixture on stove. It will look creamy at first and then beige and
brown when done. Only cook on high 10 minutes!!!
When 10 minutes is done, pour in a long cookie sheet (jelly roll pan). When
it has set up for a couple of minutes, add three Hershey Bars to the top,
when they melt spread the chocolate out with a spatula. If desired,
sprinkle the top with chopped pecans. Lightly press nuts into chocolate.
Let set several hours or over night. Take out of pan and break into little
pieces.
This is DELICIOUS!
