Apple Dilly Cake

INGREDIENTS

1/2 c Butter
1 c Sugar
1 Egg; well beaten
1 1/2 c Sifted flour
1 ts Salt
1 ts Baking soda
1 ts Cinnamon
1 c Walnuts; chopped
1 c Raisins
1/4 ts Cloves
1/2 ts Allspice
1/4 ts Nutmeg
1/2 c Cold Coffee
1 c Apple; coarsely chopped

INSTRUCTIONS

Cream butter and sugar; add egg. Sift dry ingredients. Add alternately with
liquid. Stir in apples, nuts and raisins. Turn in well greased and floured
11 x 7 1/2 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees about 35 minutes. Cool thoroughly
in pan. Keeps well and improves.
