INGREDIENTS

1 c Flour
1 1/2 ts Baking powder
3 tb Powdered sugar
1/4 ts Salt
1/3 c Milk
1 Egg, well beaten
2 Med Apple, sour, thinly slic

INSTRUCTIONS

Sift the dry ingredients into a bowl. Beat the egg and add the milk and
stir into the dry ingredients. Mix well. Add the sliced apples. Drop batter
by spoonfuls into hot fat and fry. Source: Pennsylvania Dutch Cook Book -
