It is the brightest star that ever cast its radiance over the darkened soul, and one that seldom sets in the gloom of morbid fancies and forboding imaginations.

Apricot Chocolate Bread

INGREDIENTS

9 oz Cut up dried apricots
3/4 c Sugar
1 c Milk
1/3 c Veg. oil
2 Eggs
2 1/2 c Flour
1/2 c Cocoa
1 ts Baking soda
1/2 ts Baking powder
1/2 c Chopped pecans

INSTRUCTIONS

Mix first 5 ingredients in a large bowl. Stir in the rest until just
moistened. Pour into greased loaf pan and bake for 50-60 mins in a
pre-heated 350 degree oven. Cool for 10 mins. and remove from pan.
