I don't know why some people change churches; what difference does it make which one you stay home from?

Apricot Nut Loaf

INGREDIENTS

1 c Sugar
2 tb Shortening
1 Egg
3/4 c Milk
3/4 c Orange juice
4 ts Grated orange rind
3 c Flour
3 1/2 ts Baking powder
1 c Finely chopped dried apricots
3/4 c Chopped nuts

INSTRUCTIONS

Combine sugar, shortening and egg. Stir in milk, juice and rind. Sift
flour, baking powder, salt and add to other mixture. Combine apricots and
nuts; add to batter. Pour into greased loaf pan and let stand 20 minutes.
Bake at 350 for 50-60 minutes.
