We Love God!

Worldliness is not a matter of engaging in those practices that some question. It is unthinkingly adopting the perspectives, values and attitudes of our culture, without bringing them under the judgment of God’s Word. It is carrying on in our lives as if we did not know Jesus.

    BASIC R.C. BELIEF A symbolic name for Rome. Peter’s writing from there (I Peter 5:13) proves he was Bishop of Rome. References to Babylon (Revelation 14:8; 16:19; 17:5; 18:2,10,21) refer solely to Pagan Rome.

    CHRISTIAN COMMENT A careful reading of the references to Babylon in Revelation plainly show this is not speaking of Pagan Rome, but of a future universal religious power.
