We Love God!

God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

I know that some are always studying the meaning of the fourth toe of the right foot of some beast in prophecy and have never used either foot to go and bring men to Christ. I do not know who the 666 is in Revelation but I know the world is sick, sick, sick and the best way to speed the Lord's return is to win more souls for Him.
Vance Havner

Oftentimes God’s chastenings instead of being retributive are corrective. They are sent to empty us of self-sufficiency and self-righteousness: they are given to discover to us hidden transgressions, and to teach us the plague of our own hearts. Or again, chastisements are sent to strengthen our faith, to raise us to higher levels of experience, to bring us into a condition of usefulness. Still again, Divine chastisement is sent as a preventative, to keep under pride, to save us from being unduly elated over success in God’s service.

54:1 <> Save me, God, by your name. Vindicate me in your might.

54:2 Hear my prayer, God. Listen to the words of my mouth.

54:3 For strangers have risen up against me. Violent men have sought after my soul. They haven’t set God before them. Selah.

54:4 Behold, God is my helper. The Lord is the one who sustains my soul.

54:5 He will repay the evil to my enemies. Destroy them in your truth.

54:6 With a free will offering, I will sacrifice to you. I will give thanks to your name, Yahweh, for it is good.

54:7 For he has delivered me out of all trouble. My eye has seen triumph over my enemies.
