I NEED THEE EVERY HOUR

I need Thee every hour
To do thy precious will;
Be my defense and tower,
Your word my sword and skill.

I need Thee every hour,
In journeys far and near
To preach the saving grace,
That all the world may hear.

I need Thee every hour,
All goodness comes from Thee;
Stay near me, is my prayer
And this my only plea.
