Praise be to the gracious Almighty God for allowing us to enter in to another year. With all gratitude and humility we need to make use of this New Year He has
granted to us. (Luk.13:8) Never underestimate the gracious provisions of God. All the blessings come down from the Lord and that is for a definite purpose;- to love , respect and live for Him.  A three fold vision will be of great help at this juncture.

The Lord calls us to recall the past blessings. Why? To be thankful, humble and wise. A sincere retrospection will break our heart with gratitude as well as penitence. That will help us to learn much and be more cautious & confident in the days ahead.<SPAN

2. Look Ahead.  Phil.3:14
Retrospection should not bind us to the past. Success or failure; dwelling on the past can never help us today. Look forward. Strive for excellence and consider any failure as a stepping stone to climb up!   Life should continue as long as He allows. The best thing

There is uncertainty around us. The circumstances are not so favorable for the Lord’s People. Our hope and confidence is in the Lord. Looking to Him alone can strengthen our faith and confirm His path for us to tread.   Pro. 4:25, 26 Isa.40:29-31

An upward vision will also reveal the glory of our blessed Lord. In the ever changing world He remains the unchanging Lord of Lords and the King of Kings. We can only fall prostrate before Him
at His greatnesses as   John did. Rev. 1:17. But praise God, He will also touch us and encourage us with His still small voice; “Do not be afraid; I am the First and the Last. I am He who live, and was dead, and behold I am alive forevermore.” Rev.1:18a
